Pada kesempatan yang lalu saya telah berbagi informasi dan pengetahuan tentang Comprehension Skill : Finding Information. Nah, kali ini saya akan kembali berbagi informasi yang masih berkaitan dengan Comprehension Skill. Tulisan saya kali ini adalah Comprehension Skill : Sequencing. Mari kita simak bersama-sama.

There is no doubt that reading comprehension skill allows reader to move from elementary reading to effective reading. Reading comprehension is the ability to understand what we read. One of the essential comprehension skill is sequencing. 

Sequencing in comprehension skill refers to putting things in the order in which they happened. There are some essential tips in Sequencing, they are as follows :

1. Read the text carefully and make sure you understand the questions.
2. Identify which events you need to sequencing.
3. Find and underline the events in the text.
4. Look for marker words such as then, next, after and before.
5. Work out how the events are related.
6. Consider all possible answer and make your own decision.

Pada kesempatan yang lalu, saya telah berbagi informasi dan pengetahuan mengenai Comprehension Skill : Fact or Opinion. Nah, kali saya akan kembali berbagai informasi yang bermanfaat. Tulisan saya kali ini masih berkaitan dengan Comprehension Skill yaitu Comprehension Skill : Finding Infromation. Yuk kita lihat bersama-sama.

As we know that comprehension skill is mainly related to reading comprehension. It is about an ability to read, process and understand its meaning. One of comprehension skill to be learn is comprehension skill in finding information. 

It is refers to reading and searching text to find specific or general information. There are several tips in finding information, they are as follow :

1. Read the text carefully and make sure you understand the questions.
2. Find and underline keywords in questions.
3. Think of possible answer (it means you will need to check the text).
4. Find keywords in the text to support the answer. 
5. Read the information around the keywords.
6. Consider all the possible answer and make your own decision.

Comprehension Skill : Fact or Opinion

Comprehension skill is closely related to reading comprehension. It is not easy to own a good reading comprehension skill. Comprehension skill refers to ability to read text, process it and understand its meaning. 

One of the comprehension skill is about deciding if what has been written is true (fact) or simply what the writer believes. There are some tips in deciding fact or opinion, they are :

1. Read the text carefully and make sure you understand the question.
2. Find the statement in the text and underline it.
3. Ask your self if the statement could be checked by research.
4. If it can be checked by research, it can be conclude as a fact.
5. If it is something the writer simply believes is true, it must be an opinion.
6. Consider all possible answer and make your own decision.
