Sudah lama sekali sepertinya saya tidak membuat posting baru. Pada kesempatan yang lalu saya telah berbagi informasi mengenai Download Soal UTS 1 Kelas 2 Tahun 2014 : Seni Budaya dan Prakarya. Nah pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan sedikit berbagi informasi terkait dengan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris terutama dalam hal keterampilan berbicara (speaking skill). What is Suggest or Suggestion?

Suggest means to present a suggestion that is to introduce or propose an idea or a plan for consideration. In another word, we can say that suggest means to propose a plan  It can be accepted or refused depends on the situation. Suggestions are abstract. Suggestions can be in the form of solutions, advice, plan or idea. 

What is the example of suggestion?

Pay attention in the following examples. 

1. Let's finish our homework first!
2. Let's go home!
3. Let's take a rest for a moment!
4. Let's go to cinema!
5. We could eat at home this evening!
6. How about going to bank first!
7. I think you should go and meet her!
8. Why don't we go swimming this afternoon!

When making a suggestion, people often use following expression or gambits.

• I suggest that ....
• You might want to change ....
• I think ....
• I don't think ....

Responding Suggestion

Accepting

• Yes, let's go
• Ok. I will

• Ok if you say so
